I plan to replace my kitchen faucet which required only a single hole in the counter top. I will replace it with one that also requires a single hole because I don’t want todo any more drilling. My question is – must I buy a replacement faucet that requires the exact same size hole?

A number of years ago, my parents bought a house for the purpose of renting out. They were telling me about an electrical problem where they felt an electric shock (tingle) every time they touched the water coming out of the kitchen tap. Of course the problem was fixed before the house was put on the market, but what would cause something like that in the first place?

I just had granite counter tops installed and I just bought a brand new Delta faucet. I think the faucet would look much better if I can remove the plate somehow so that you can see the granite between the handles. Is it possible? If so, how?

Do I need to buy a new one or do I get a washer? If so what washer? How would you solve this?
I fixed it by dumping the nozzle in a pot of boiling water, it seems that it broke the heavy metals and residue somehow. I also stirred it several times to make sure the water traveled through it. It works like new! Thanks for the tip on the dirt and lime buildup!

I have to buy a new kitchen faucet. Want a pull-down sprayer, swan-neck design. Guy at Lowe’s said b/w Moen, Kohler and Delta, to go Delta all the way. Then a friend say Moen all the way. Know not to go for Kohler, this will be the brand I’m replacing and that failed. Any advice?
Looking for middle-of-the range on price, up to 0.

One that lasts longer.
Would stainless steel be the best?
Moen?

I’d like to install a sprayer to my kitchen sink, but the faucet we have didn’t come with one, and it doesn’t have a connection for one. Is there a way to install a diverter in this faucet, or maybe install a sprayer directly to the water line? The faucet is fairly new so buying a new one is not an option. Thanks for the advice.
