I have a kitchen faucet that won’t turn from one sink to the other. Is it easy to replace a one-control faucet with a similar item? And would getting a new faucet be likely to solve my problem?
We have an old one we want to replace & I’m just wondering if it’s something people do themselves or if you call a plumber… We already bought the new faucet.
I would like to clean or lubricate my kitchen sink faucet so that it can move left to right more easily. Do I have to take it apart to do this? What cleaning products or lubricants should be used?
I rent the apartment so I can’t get a new faucet. I would only like to clean or lubricate the faucet.
Corky is on the right track. It’s a single handled unit where the faucet part comes out with a hose attached, and you can switch between many small streams of water or one big stream. I forget the manufacturer but it is probably delta or moen.
Right now I have a kitchen faucet that uses three of the four available holes. I bought a new one that would use all four holes. The problem? The fourth hole right now is connected to my dishwasher and to what I think is some kind of overflow hose? Not really sure. Is there some way I can disconnect it and reroute it so I can install my new faucet or am I out of luck?
I am aware these area washles but mine does drip Do I have to buy an entirely new faucet or is there someway I can fix it. It is fine under the sink and every where else, I really don’t need a new one…I just want this to stop dripping.
I’m upgrading to granite and was wondering if I use my current overmount faucet BUT if decided to go undermount later would the hole size be the same. I know that you are suppose to use undermount faucet but ran out of money to buy a new one. Is the hole size the same for both? I hate for them to drill a hole now and it won’t be the right size once I have the money to buy a new faucet to install. Thanks!!!
First the sprayer was leaking, so I bought a new one. But after installing it the old faucet started to leak through the cold side. Bought a new faucet, finally got it installed and sort of working. Only there is hardly ANY water pressure. Any ideas?
I have two separte knobs for my kitchen faucet and the one with the warm water stopped working. It keeps dripping and it won’t shut off so I turned off the main warm water valve below. Also the cold side makes a loud vibrating noise when I turn it on full, it works fine though. So do I need a new faucet or is there a way to fix this? By the way, this one is only about 8 months old.
I just paid 5 to have a new faucet installed in my kitchen sink. Is this an average price or was I ripped off?
